Mohawk Valley, New York · Family Run · Small Batch

Est. in the Mohawk Valley

Deep roots.
Bold flavor.

We make apparel for the music and festival crowd, small-batch beeswax goods, and a hot sauce that started as a family recipe. Everything made close to home, in runs small enough that we still touch every piece.

What we make

Three lines, one workshop.

Wyld Roots is the umbrella. Under it sit the clothes, the beeswax goods, and Root Sauce — all built around the same idea: make it properly, or don't make it.

01 / Apparel

Made for the crowd

Shirts, hats, and patches built for the local music and festival scene — the kind of gear that survives a muddy field and still looks right at the bar afterward.

  • Custom patches and embroidered pieces
  • Band merch runs
  • Small-batch, short runs welcome

02 / Beeswax

Goods from the hive

Beeswax done the slow way — candles, beard oil, and skin and hair products made in small batches with ingredients we can name.

  • Poured candles
  • Beard oil
  • Skin & hair care

03 / Root Sauce

Hot sauce, with a story

Our flagship food line, starting with Habanero Peach. Sweet meets heat, built on real fruit and real peppers.

  • Habanero Peach — first release
  • More flavors to follow
  • 5 fl oz bottles

Flavor Habanero Peach
Heat 4 / 5

Peaches, habanero, garlic, vinegar. That's most of it. Sweet up front, then the pepper catches up with you — a smooth-burning heat that doesn't wreck the flavor on the way through.

Named for the roots we came from, and for a name Utica has been carrying for a long time.

Our story

Built from the ground up.

Wyld Roots is Andrew Root and Nicole Aldi, working out of the Mohawk Valley. Nicole is a master seamstress with close to a decade in professional apparel production. Andrew has spent a lifetime playing guitar and building things.

That combination is the whole company: a workshop's worth of sewing knowledge, and a reason to use it. We make the clothes we wanted to wear, the candles we wanted to burn, and a hot sauce good enough to put the family name on.

We do things the hard way, in small runs, and we'd rather tell you what's in something than talk around it.
